Our Story
From Bagels to Seoul
In 2008, Irene Wang opened Deli Bagel & Cafe on Harbor Boulevard — a classic American bagel shop in Costa Mesa. For years, she served East Coast-style bagels while raising her son Jun in the neighborhood.
When Jun left the tech industry to join the family business, they made a bold decision: lean into their Korean heritage. In early 2025, they relocated to Adams Avenue, renamed the shop Deli Seoul, and started putting bulgogi, gochujang, and sweet-glazed spam alongside bacon and ham.
The result? A one-of-a-kind Korean-American deli where you build your dream bagel with Korean chili mayo, grab kimbap rolls for lunch, or dig into a bibimbap bowl with Irene's homemade gochujang sauce.
